Advice please

Hello.

 

I've just purchased a FMIC with pipe work from a member on here. I'm very happy with it and installed it yesterday. During browsing the web last night I noticed a few posts in the Australian forum saying that using these front intercoolers blocks air getting to the radiator and can cause overheating and its recommended that aftermarket smic's are best fitted. Is this anything to worry about? Does anyone run a z32 with FMIC on? And do they have or had any problems? I do have a bonnet vent and vented nose panel which will allow more air to circulate.

    I would imagine for normal driving you'll be fine. I got one on but not drove car yet and I'm not worried about it
