Hi all I'm jason, I'm from South Wales. In 1998 I purchased a 1989 2+2 turbo, manual transmission, etc. I drove it for a year then got a company vehicle, it's been in the garage ever since. Unfortunately she is looking a little worst for wear so I've decided it's time to spend some money on her and get her back on the road, gonna spend the summer working on her, will put up some pictures when I next pull her out of the garage, I know to start the breaks have seized, and the clutch pedal stays on the floor ( hopefully just fluid gone off).

She has been started every year so hopefully engine all good.

Good luck with your project mate - you have come to the right place for help and advice on all things Zed related..... And quite a few non-zed related bits too, it would seem....

That's a long ownership chap, it will make the finished product even more special no doubt. Glad to see you're getting it back to its former glory and not letting it waste away :)

Hi joely, yeah it's been a long time, I remember the day I first saw it for sale in a local garage. I paid £3000 for it back in 1998. I have always said I would get the car back on the road, my wife keeps on about getting rid of it but there's no chance on that, this car has a special place with me, I know there's a lot of work ahead but I'm up for the challenge.

I think the main challenge is in findings spares for it. Not many firms stock them anymore. I'm glad I found this site, you guys will keep me motivated through the tough times ahead.

Cheers.
