Picked a Bose centre speaker up when I was in America a few years ago. Was planning on fitting it but think I'll be putting a turbo timer & boost controller in its place. Never seen one for sale in this country so not sure what it's worth, any ideas?

I've only seen a few of them in the flesh before.

They are worth what ever the highest bidder is willing to pay, send it to auction mate.

(Does the forum still have its auction section?)

No idea mate - other than what Tom said....

.....Nonetheless, it does look like it fills the hole nicely; but whether it is of value to someone would depend on if it would work with the variety of after-market head units in our cars nowadays!! Or if someone had that OEM set-up but their centre speaker has died.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

50p and a packet of frazzles???

I would love to have that filling my missing centre channel sound hole......... lol

How much would you take for it dude???

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

They are ideal as the speaker for a hands free in car system.

great idea mate:wink:

Even if it didn't work, I still think its pleasing to the eye and a nice original optional OEM part.

I think you're right, might try to locate the boost controller somewhere else & keep it. I do like having a few optional extras fitted.

I take it the frazzles didn't swing it for me then???......lol

Never seen a speaker before, as I seem to only have the grille in mine!

It's quite a tight fit with the speaker & head unit in the centre console.

I wonder whether mine ever had Bose in it, as I have a Sony CD selector module in the centre console, but no head unit or changer, I guess the previous wanted to fill a gap?

I think the cover looks good, but you have to have the speaker somewhere!...Keep it!
