....who's hitting the roads??

I am straight out there. Weather is perfect! Roads are going to be deserted (hopefully)!

well i went out too early and ended up doing some speed work instead of an endurance run so got back just in time for the footy to start, but luckily there is an old simpsons on tv then its off to bed as im up early to cycle to work in the morning, chance england team could be back in the uk by tomorrow lunch time?

come on guys get the beers in and if you are English support your team

so what if they are a bit crap they are your national team and as such should support them

Agreed - IF you like football - but if you don't, then why waste 90 minutes of your life? I would still like to wish England all the best (and as I type it may be too late); but as I hate football, I certainly will not be watching....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I was right :) Shame we didn't bother playing like we did against Italy. Gerard had a shite game...

Sorry but that game was shocking although was impressed with Johnson and sturridge let's hope they play like that when the BPL starts

Regrettably it's the same 3 words which have dogged England for some years now......

Not. Good. Enough.

.... Harsh, maybe, but until they (and/or the powers that be behind the team) realise it, instead of entering every tournament with the same sense of entitlement; and actually do something about it, then it will be the same next time. and so forth.....!!

Time to take a leaf out of germanys book clear them all out and field a young hungry squad that want to prove something. That was another wasted 90 mins of life imo.

I agree, don't know why I bother watching as it always ends in disappointment.

Had a great night! Went for a cracking drive down the coast and screwed the ex when I got back! Hope all you football lovers had a good evening.....

I have always hated football but I don't understand how people believe we can do anything on a world scale when we have no English players at the club level. All we do is develop the foreign players and seem surprised when we lose.

And yes they are a load of way overpaid tosspots!!

I don't agree with Gerrard aka Jason Bent having a bad game...............................did you lot not see that flick on for Suarez to run onto :confused1:.

lol yaaaaaaasssssss lol

Who would have thought ? Ronald MacDonald is a Jock ? pmsl !!

Alan.......

So this national sport we all live in the UK, no one seems to like it? How funny.

LOL - very funny indeed Steve!! Personally, I don't see football as our "national sport" - merely the sport that most of our nation has chosen to watch; bloated with beer, wearing horrible lurid coloured polyester and shouting obscenities at the TV, referee, et al. It's not that I don't like football, more that I cannot stand it - and the pervading culture that follows in its wake. But that's just me.......

.....Nonetheless we did invent rugby; England is not doing badly in the cricket and let's not forget Wimbledon starts in a few days. So we can expect rain in the London area:wink:

Incidentally the average viewing figure was 11.5million people watching England vs Ukraine I believe, britians got talent final got 12.6! Infact coronation street averages roughly 6 million! So actually were better of going for a drive these days when simon vowels on TV haha so much for our national game hey.
