So its finally happening after been off the road for well over a year the zed is on Target for its refurbishment.

Last year I started with doing all the underbody suspension stuff to make the ride more stable and after that

I decided I wanted to do a full strip down to the bare shell and start from scratch to create a show quality z32.

After much bad luck and many thousands of pounds wasted on rotted zeds i'm cracking on with the original plan.

So as a quick update i'll post some older picks followed over the next few weeks by an overall progress report.

Starting off with how she was when I first purchased her 3 years ago until the state she is now then showing the

strip down and all the bad luck I've had.

So here she is as I bought her :

From someone breaking a UK car with them and/or any sapphire blue JDM vehicle. You could try Baz, I think he has a UK breaker in right now.

Daily update time !

Managed to get the rear quarter glass out but took me nearly 45 minutes per side and it was a bugger of a job.

But glad it was done as the painters can now do a proper job rather than masking round the glass.

Also managed to get a glimpse of the doors and spoiler which both have had there first coat or primer.

Then on the way out of the door I my new bonnet caught me eye and after chatting we dragged

the pedestal out into the sun to see it shine.

Not the cleanest of pics as its a wee bit dusty but it really shows how the sun can flip the colour.

Lastly a big box full of new goodness arrived today so i'll go away and take some more pics and post up shortly.

Looking good lee. House of kolor paint was the right choice though the best out there in my opinion. Not cheap but who cares when you get a deep colour like that.
