Some of you may know I have an FB page documenting my progress, but since a few don't have/want FB, I'm going to start uploading pics here too as I get time.

As I've said before, not competing this year, time is being focussed on family and home projects, both of which I largely ignored last year! I also enjoy modifying and developing the car as much as driving it, so can tinker away at it through the year, so don't expect fast progress.

Open for discussion, criticism etc :)

Solid mounts fitted onto the diff, put them in the freezer overnight and eased gently into place with a hammer :)

For the quaife, you need to shorten one of the stub axles, so here's some pics of that being done with my trusty grinder

after some fettling, this is full droop, after raising the coilovers 15mm.

Will play some more tomorrow, raise it another 10mm, and widen the track with the lower arms. Then when I'm happy with this side, will match the arm lengths for the other side. With a bit of luck it'll be on the ground this weekend for the first time in 6 months

Thanks guys, car is now on the ground for the first time in 6 months! Lots of small jobs to crack on with, then a trip to Jimmer's and a bodyshop to sort the rear quarter out

Spoke to Allan@Bodymech earlier and the car is booked in to sort out the rear qtr in December

Also, now the rear of the car is on the ground, I took the opportunity to re-fit my front brake discs again with the new brake hats which backspace them further inboard. This is what 380mm discs look like behind the Enkei's

Thanks, I'll double check the internal vane direction.

What's the purpose if setting the brakes further inward? Is it a clearance issue?

Yes, to move calipers away from the spokes. I bought my brakes from an R34, and they had a nearly flat hat, which was fine for my other wheels. I've moved them back to be more in-line with the Z32 fitment and given myself more space to play with.
