It's graphite grey with pearl met kh2 when it's cut back and the lacquer on then it stands out

Did I read that correctly....? You haven't lacquered it yet? :confused: You can't cut-back metallic base coat....

Why si I thought you could

 

Hell no! NEVER ever do that. You need to lacquer straight on to metallic base coat. You'll totally screw up the 'lay' of the metallic particles, you'll get dark spots and all sorts. Not something I would do. It's the lacquer you cut back. I'd degrease that and then lacquer straight on top, however, I would have allowed the paint to partically dry and then hit it with 2-3 layers of lacquer rather than left it. Good job I told you!

Lots of fine layers remember. Doesn't matter if it doesn't give an ultimate gloss straight out of the gun, as long as coverage is even with no runs or dry spots, you can cut back with wet and dry after before final polishing.

Best I go put the locking nuts on my wheels then if your up this way haha had too pull my finger out as only took a wk off did a late one putting the paint on I'm pleased with the outcome just got too leave it now the sand it back then buff it

cant wait too see it mate, lol and yes lock them but ooooooops ive got the same locking nuts hahahahha you may wake up with some 265s :) :) you should probabily roll your arches since your painting it. stop the rub.

The arches have been done mate I did see some nice 19s but iv got too calm down on the spending got too thank si for putting on the right path as I was going to cut the base coat didn't know you couldn't do that or it cock it up so big big thanks to him on that one
