Not really a biggy, the chassis number is stamped into the body on the drivers side bulkhead at the rear of the engine where the loom clips on.

Don't suppose the colour code is stamped anywhere else? From Xenon32 website i reckon the 2 whites used in 90/91 were Super White (326) and Glacier white pearlglow (KH6). I think mine is KH6 from this picture, "Funkisi" i think you could confirm it as your car was originally this colour code?

I believe kh6 is that pearl white, or what I'd call Metalic ivory. If yours is pearl white, it's a nightmare to colour match so I'm told, just like the yellow pearl.

Look at the paint finish on your car...Is it "solid" /plain white or does it have a pearl/fine metallic sheen or shimmer to it when cleaned/t cut.? Especially in the sunlight or when a torch or other light us used on it

That will give you the answer .

Unless the whole car has been resprayed?

Yours is KH6 for certain. A very very skilled painter can match pearl paints, but it's not easy, especially on old paint. Generally though, it'll be extremely hard.

Thanks Guys, its unanimous, mines KH6, I'm not really trying to "match" anything, but the front panel is all wrong so i thought i'd give it a go.

Thanks

Rich

The front panel if not matched correctly will look noticable 'out' as it sits flush with the bonnet. This is why I mentioned colour matching. :)
