Having spent fortunes getting the car right I am going take out the engine and gearbox to keep as spare for my race car and sell the rest. This is not a for sale thread and I won't be taking offers for any of the parts until I place it in classified section. I will be taking it to Japfest rather than the race car which will be too loud for the track so anyone interested can look at it there and inspect at your leisure. Most of you know the car as Madmax zed and it looks the same pretty much. Various upgrades and proper matching of parts now this is a serious car. Gets more attention than my race car and is a pleasure to drive. Truly I am selling most of my toys to focus on racing as I work away mostly these days with very little spare time. I've got my zx10r and jeep for sale too :-)

Most likely will be selling some of the juicy bits first then then letting it go as a rolling shell. It's got AEM ECU, Racelogic, Tein Superstreet, and have you seen those wheels!!!!!!!

Someone will get a beautiful car here and I know my girlfriend is gonna be upset as she loves it.

here is a brief list of major items which 'might' be up for sale dependent on what remains with the shell. I will stick a classified ad immediately after Japfest when parts will be available.

Kenwood DNX5240BT GPS and Bluetooth

Interior retrim cost £1762

AEM Gauges, Oil temp, Oil Pressure, Tru-boost, and AFR.

Mongoose Exhaust System

Recaro Sport ‘Trendline’ seats

Momo Nero steering wheel

Clifford Concept 300 alarm

Tein Superstreet with EDFC

Series 2 AEM EUC

Rays 19” 7 spoke titanium Gram Lights with Falken tyres

R32 rear brakes (Note, I will be keeping the front Stoptech brakes for spares)

EFI harness

Walbro fuel pump with install kit

HID lighting kit

Racelogic traction control with digital controller

New single prop conversion

Recent bearings by Jimmer

Lots of other little goodies will hopefully stay with the car. I have just sent registration retention document in to DVLA so not sure what the reg number will be.

Guys and I enjoyed driving the car so much over the weekend I've decided to keep it. I've just sold my bike and have someone on the Jeep so will have plenty of space to keep it. There wasn't a great deal of interest really and as a few people said it would be a shame to break now it's sorted. It means I still have the spare engine but it's not sat on a shelf somewhere but being used as it should.

It was an interesting thread while it lasted :)

See the estate version isn't that floored really :p

As a race car it is flawed however as a fast road car it's possibly better then the slicktop. Not only that I think it performed pretty well against other more focused cars on the track :)
