you might be right yet joely i was sure i had a immaculate one in the garage dont know what i've done with it! i do have this one tho which has slight damage to one of the screw holes but was completely stable as it had a longer screw and there will be a partial refund if you chose to take it

....if anyone does buy a new one, or indeed find a good replacement, make sure you get the correct screws for the hazard switch. The screw is a different length to all the other bezel screws and most people have mixed them up and put the wrong one in. The fact of the matter is that the others are too long which means that as you tighten, it splits it open.

Make sure you get the correct screw for this as you'll do exactly the same again.

Total length of screw is 15mm the others are 20mm

Bit of a thread resurrection going on here........

and having read i'm still unsure, my pod when i bought the car was damaged so long screws were fitted, i then got another which was an improvement but although fine and secure i used the radio console screws but these are 20mm, so is 15mm correct as stated by Keith above ?

So i've taken a pic with some options, bottom left we have the radio console screws, bottom right some that are too thin, amongst others you see which are too long imo, the centre of the below pic we have some 15mm in total length flange ones and i think these are correct but there is another with a rounded no flange head and this is 15mm also, so which is it please.

No guesses please i need to know 100% as i have virgin holes :innocent:, i have a new pod back and want to use the correct oem screws, thank you.

Not that one Gaz, that's the one i'd call a radio console 20mm screw, they are for the underneath of the pod though, 2 of, each side.

And anyway with the flange they foul a little as they go in, so even the 15mm long ones would do the same, so i wasn't happy driving home.

I've used these below anyway, sorry not the best picture, the head on these is a little smaller and even though only 10mm in total length long maybe a bit short but they do go in, without effort, nip up and it's secure but i would like to know for sure which is the oe screw.
