Have owned Z's for about 7 years. The first one I had to have put down as it had been used and VERY abused. I did throw some time and money at it but it needed putting out of its misery. The second one I bought as an Ex Nissan show car {pinch of salt}, although it did have 42K on the clock and was pristine inside and out. This is the one I plan as a keeper as she is a sound starting point. Don't plan to change her too much changing the front to a '99 spec bumper and but had the rear wing carbon fibre wrapped to match the wheels. {Thinking of taking it off now though as she is being resprayed within the next few weeks}.
Have already done the basics to the engine just refurbing the bits subject to age wear. Once the outside is sorted I will tweek the inside then look to the engine bay again. Being a girlie I am not that bothered what the engine looks like as long as its sound.
