Water temp at idle

Guys I have a quick question,what temp should the water be when idling after 5 to 10 mins starting from cold.thanks all

    It can take a while to warm up its a big engine compared to most modern engines. Once upto temperature it should sit half way, when off or cold you should be able to see two tiny white dots at the 9 o'clock position, should be covering them. The stock gauge is crap though, it tends to have three readings, cold, correct and overheating.
