I have just bought my first 300tt 2+2 manual, targa in midnight purple (not sure of official name but thats what Skylines are called :-))from Japan.

 

Not had an import since 2008 so eagerly waiting for it to come across.

 

I am a Jap nut and had loads of standard and modified cars.

 

When I receive my car I will endeavour to come to meets and bean active member, but I have a young family so it might be difficult to convince the misses that I want to clean my wheels rather then go out with the family :-)

 

Anyway I will get some pics up but I will be lurking about until 2 month when I receive it!

Look forward to some pics. Do you know what model year it is? The midnight purple ones was an option on the late versions I think.

TBH all my previous imports were white but now white is the new silver and I dont like it anymore!!!

It has had a cambelt done but not the clutch. How long do they normally last as they look like a bugger of a job.

 

Also I 'might' get a Bee R Rev limiter as I had one of these on my last 2 GTR's and it was amazing for launching!

Have you got standard brakes?

I've got drilled and grooved discs all round with ebc yellow stuffed pads in the front and standard in the back.

Hey another Zed in the best colour for a Zed!!! (apart from Red of course which is also the best colour)

 

Shame I didn't get to see you at the show too, was meant to be there but my car has been SORN since November and despite some heroic efforts will not be back on the road until next week

 

Anyway maybe you would like to come along in June and exhibit at the next show big in the Midlands area - Trentham Gardens Stoke On Trent. Or maybe the Peak Run round Derbyshire the following weekend
