I have a wings west front bumper sat in the garage, its been there a while and quite honestly it'll never get fitted so I'm thinking, should I get rid.

Anyway, what do you lot think its worth? Its a fiberglass one that's never been fitted.

Thanks

Lee knows I've given him a ribbing about the stuff he's accumulated on facebook. He'll be expecting that comment!

"More than 10 available / 1 sold" lol

You're right though, despite their appearance, a new un-fitted/un-painted bumper is worth more than £50 if you can find a buyer no matter what it looks like.

I know how much they are for sale on eBay for, but they are only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Thankfully, gone are the days of massive, ridiculous in your face body kits that absolutely ruin the look of the car.which in turns means after market bumpers etc are losing there value, especially ones for older cars like ours.

As si stated "more than 10 available, 1 sold" pretty much says it all. Take a look through eBay at 300zx bumpers actually sold for a better indication of what they are actually worth.

This is actually quite significant, because it means that the car is going from 'cheap thrills to show your mates at McDonalds' to 'classic'. It's how all the 'retro' cars go. Stuff like MK1 and 2 Astras, Novas, Escorts. They all went through this phase. Anyone remember Carlton Automotive?

It used to be that every other MK4 Escort you'd ever see looked like this...

As they've gotten to an age, this stuff has almost disappeared, also with the demise of chavvy media detritus such as Fast Car, Revs and Max Power. Concourse and/or track vehicles seem to be what's left and the values have gone up. Z32 will head this way slowly but surely.
