Hi folks, i'm new to the forum and was hoping one of you might recognise this 300 and point me towards some more information about it, maybe a thread on here? I've not been able to find anything going from the reg- K222 PUP. Any help would be hugely appreciated

Thanks guys, i've got that link now just trying to do some detective work and find out more if possible

From what I can gather it's been well maintained though?

Sorry to be blunt i'll post a proper intro thread shortly :)

No worries lol, yes he spent alot on it and did look after it, where it went after that, im not sure if much was done, but iirc the dealer was trying his luck on the price he initially paid Nelson.

I've found a few Youtube videos of it now and some more pictures, I did find a dealership selling it for about £3500 but it's now elsewhere and i'm going to view it tomorrow..maybe i'll be back with good news in the near future

Just remember its a non turbo, you could buy a reasonable TT for that, but i guess if you want something that is pretty up together ( or was) then £3.5k some would say is a litle high for an N/A although there have been top examples in the past go above £4k, just a thought for you.

This car was once being sold for around the £5k mark which was ott, regardless of whats been done to it.

The owner travelled quite some distance to trade it in I believe so it wasn't local :) but good to know there's locals about!

Sadly this will have to wait for a year..noone will quote me for a RWD car above 2l with that much BHP as my only experience is driving my DC5, what a damn shame..i'll be back in a year :(

Thought i recognised that username lol im tico_87 from ITR-DC5 :P strange your getting quoted so much. Before i bought my DC5 i was looking in various other cars and the 300zx was cheaper to insure than the 5.

Have you tried classic car insurance as you Have LynnBrook, Adrian Flux and a host of others...........???

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

I've been refused insurance from company's just down to it been an import, but I've always had reasonable quotes from confused.com or other comparison sites.

Just put every man and his dog as named drivers, providing they're old and have been driving a while they always make my insurance cheaper, regardless of convictions or claims.

Some good news!

After trying about 15 companies Admiral quoted me £859 fully comp, mirrored my NCB from my DC5 with another company weirdly, it's not cheap but it's in my budget..think i'll be a 300zx owner soon ;) watch this space!

Hi,

Here you go... This is the guy that owned the car and you can look back through his posts to find some history on the car. I believe it is currently at jurgens place (j.m. imports)...
