oil question

riight well my car laid up for some time whilst i got to were i am today and whilst im home i use it on a daily basis. when i started to use it i canged the oil twice, since then.i have been running with an additive in the oil that was there to get rid of tapy hydrolic lifter but thats been in for over two months and dont tap anymore so want rid,. so time to change oil again. dont want to thin nor fully sythetic , cars done 88 thou and going to be changing prob 4 times a year. i do like to drive her. any thoughts welcome.sorry 1990 man tt

I've not ran the car in 3 years but I have some on the garage shelf ready to go in, checked the grade then come back to computer to put a link up, but couldn't find it :D

AMSOIL is the brand it's American :)

Yep, use a good quality 10w40. Have a look at Opie Oils, they trade here in the traders section :thumbup1:

Yup - if you don't want to go synthetic then stick with Nissan's original choice of a good 10w40 semi..... Castrol magnatec is always a good option:wink:
