April 13, 201411 yr So, went to fit my NA radiator into my turbo shell. It doesn't fit of course... So I need a turbo one, and I was about to buy one from Ebay. Can I just confirm that there aren't any variations of turbo radiator? Last thing I need is another that doesn't fit!
April 13, 201411 yr Author Different ones for auto and manual due to the autobox oil cooler Cheers, do you know what the difference is? Just my turbo shell had an oil cooler, which I removed, but that suggests it was an auto originally, even though it had a regular gear stick...so maybe converted at some point.

April 14, 201411 yr For the extra few quid, go splurge on an aftermarket alloy rad. Is it necessary? Not entirely. Will it give you peace of mind and a greater ability to absorb the unforseen? Yes. The stock rads are old now, so the chances of picking up one that's fully clean and unblocked without any damage and able to keep up it's duties is less likely.
