Did not see that one coming. Neither did anyone else "unforeseen circumstances" is the term they used on the news I believe.

Bloody hell - I have only just heard...

Whatever the circumstances, it is always sad to see someone pass away so young. RIP Peaches, it should not have happened to you at this stage of your life....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I was deeply saddened to see this, she had a rough upbringing with her mum's affair then her overdosing at her 11th birthday and dying - i'm surprised she didn't totally self destruct.

She said that having her two baby's had sorted her out, given her purpose and since then in the public eye she's seemed very adult, grown up, that life was one her side finally and she was happy.

Such a sad end to think it looks like she died of natural causes and left her two little ones and her husband behind for something that wasn't her fault :(

RIP Peaches x

At first I thought it was probably drug related. But after hearing more it does appear that it was natural causes. Very sad indeed, especially since she'd turned her life around..:(

  • 4 weeks later...

I would like to retract my RiP as it appears that she did die of a herion overdose. SO she has in effect done to her kids exactly what her useless mother did to her....

Some people just never learn from life's lessons...

I knew it would be related to "smack" hence no comment from me early in the thread Dave... Ime Not bothered about her as she made the choice as an imformed adult, its the poor children who suffer ..the ones who had no choice:(

That was my first thought Bri. I gave her the benefit of doubt but shouldn't have bothered.. As you say, it's the kids I feel sorry for..

So so sad. Obviously feel sorry for the kids, but also I'm gutted for her dad.

Always thought the parents are meant to be the Role models, so where were they (or one of them at least), when you saw the turn out of celebrity old soaks and ex (current addicts) it's no wonder the Girl couldn't find her way, got to fear for the Kids in the future...who will they turn too. Sad!

Yeah ditto from me Bri, you don't die of natural causes as a rule in your 20's and given her family history and the circles that z listers move in, the heroin outcome comes as no surprise and I'm afraid I have no sympathy for her, she has let her children down in the worst possible way.

:pinch: Stupid is as stupid does. Would have thought she would have learnt that lesson as a kid with the events of her mother. I take an odd stance on stuff like this, that I would discuss on an open forum as it's too complex and would be misconstrued. The two following two statements should help explain my stance though.

"If coffee where outlawed, only outlaws would drink coffee."

"If you make a choice which you know is poor one through selfishness or arrogance you can't cry about it when it backfires, except the fact YOU are responsible for your poor choice and it's shitty outcome."
