Hi all as the title states I am now the proud owner of a manual twin turbo Z picked her up today. I had a N/A previously before this one.

What id like to ask is for any advice and tips on looking after this engine its had a full rebuild two years ago and only done 2000 miles since then, no performance mods just built to standard spec.

I know these engines have to be warmed up before revving and oil changes are more frequent, but is there anything else I should watch out for or do in general? im gona give her a full service this week and check over at my garage.

cheers guys!!

Photos? Who did the engine rebuild and what consisted of the 'full' rebuild? New turbos? New end bearings? What was actually done?

What other history or receipts does it come with for recent maintenance? I'd change the oil for starters as a first-measure. If the engine was built well, then oil is all it'll need. I average about 2,000-3,000 per year and change my oil after winter layup.

Congrats though, TT feels completely different to NA power.

Congrats on your new purchase, get some pics up!

TT is far better than NA!

Cheers guys!! Yeah ok so oil I'll change first and get a service. Paper works at home at the minute but I'll go through it for all details in the re-build, it's been to z world last year and had a health check.

Few bits need doing, it's got a bit off corrosion on fuel tank and brake lines need replacing.

I'll get pics up but don't know how :(

First things first is getting it right mechanically, then I'll start with the cosmetics. It's up on the ramp now getting the full tank sorted (had small leak) then need to undersell it, and few other advisories it had on the MOT guys how do I put pics up? I'm struggling.

Is anyone nice enough to let me send a couple of pics too and can put them up for me for now. When I get home I'll have ago doing it from my computer.

Cheers guys!!

Click the icon below (arrowed lol)

A small box will pop up, click Browse, locate the pic you want to upload from your PC, and then click upload, if the pick is large, just wait a bit, it will put a code in the chat window, dont keep clicking the upload button thinking nothing is happening, or you will end up uploading a ton of images, just click the once.

I saw one for sale recently that sounds like this.. Met orange, wide body, lambo doors. Looked like a car that Alan (Bigmincey) on here used to own or worked on a few years back

Oh ok mate yeah maybe it's the same one, the reg is RJC 716T if anyone knows of it and it's previous owners could they please let me know about it. It's got the forum logo stickers in the windows so it must be a known car on here.

Cheers guys!!
