...... To take me to work and back (unless its raining:lol:).

Since giving up smoking at Christmas I have slowly been putting on more and more weight due to snacking when I would usually have a fag.

So the time and weather has come to stop using the zed everyday to do the 4 miles to work and try and lose some of the weight I've put on round my waist!

For those who have met me know that I'm not exactly short, at 6'5" in far from it in fact!

So you may think my choice in bikes is as bit odd....

Yes.... A bmx :)

I do own a mountain bike but find it a bit boring to ride, hense the reason for buying this earlier.

Hopefully due to my size I will find it impossible to sit down while riding this, therefor having to work harder to get anywhere and getting a better workout.

I did have a Raleigh burner when I was younger which I used to use on the ramps, so maybe once I've got some of my fitness back, I'll give that another try.

Anyway.... Wish me luck

Good luck with it matey!

Be careful!! They started a cycle to work scheme at our work to help people get fit. Probably had over a dozen off sick because of bike related injuries! :scared:

...And yes....!!

Take it easy Tom:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Haha, lower that saddle immediately! Bmxs are not Made to be sat down on, the saddle is only there for when your stationary and to soften the blow when it bounces up between your legs.

Once your muscles adapt though you will be surprised how quick and agile they are. You will however wreck your knees lol.

First ride of the bmx this morning and.......

I was absolutely f#@ked by the time I got to work!

Would have been worse if I was still smoking though!

And Mr bolt, I know the seat needs lowering but until my fitness returns to me, I am going to need it to stay where it is

I had to use my zed for work again today, not because I can't handle riding the bike though!

I actually left the house on the bmx, got half way (ish) and the back wheel seized up, so walked the bike back and with a little smile on my face fired up the zed.

Bmx is already at the repair shop so should be back riding again in no time :)

You need to get to work on one of these Tomo...... In fact these would be fun for most Z owners.......lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

That looks like so much fun Russ!

Pretty sure if I did that on the way to work I would laugh of work all together!!!!

We should get some of these and get a display team going for Japfest....... being towed by a Z.......... lol
