ive finally replaced my pods and ill be damned if i start drilling holes in it!! the alarm light was on top behind the boost gauge and the rear fog lights switch was on the inside of the pod, both on the ride side pod. firstly id like to have a separate switch for the rear fogs on the control panel. theres a space for a switch which is for the cruise control. if someone can donate just that switch or one that would be awesome. if i cant have it the way i plan then how can i wire the rear fogs to the front fog switch. so that both front and back are controlled from one switch :)

Doubtful that you will get a fog switch in the position of the cc blank as on the board behind it has a different switching mechanism and if yours is blank may be a different board altogether.

The front fogs work off the small 1 pin plug on the rear of the pod, so you can either route a ground for the rear fog to there or to the fog light relay. So you are switching the ground/earth and not the live feed, so you will need your live feed from the relay or any constant live to power it up.

I have a round fog light switch mounted on the outer instument bezel on the left hand side next to the idiot lights it just about fits. My alarm light is fitted on the cruize control blank.

No not there. looking through the steering wheel oposite side to the indicator stalk. The hicas lights I think are on there.

Have you got crusie control? The cc switch position looks like a blank or have the legends worn off?

no cruise control. could i not add just the cruise control switch or will i have to replace the entire pod?

Just remember MOT regs say you need a visual indication that rear fog lights are on.

So you would near to ensure a light is wired in behind the button.

I've not taken one apart so I don't know if that is posssible, but as you will need to find a pod to get the cc switch I

would have thought you might just as well replace the entire pod.

For the tell-tale light when the fogs are on you could use the "Cruise" light position in the dash.

True that would be easier. It has thw green indicator on the dash for the cc so shoukdn5 have any prods as long as there is wiring for it

I have both cc pod and one without cc as spares.

My car doesn't have cruise and had the blank which i didn't like, so I now have a UK pod fitted with cruise, rear fog switch with light indication and headlamp washer button.

When i hit the 'rear fog switch' the front fogs come on, the symbol or logo is actually facing the wrong way.

When i hit the cruise button it clicks of course and i do still get the cc indication light in my clocks and yes i think it is green (S4).
