Hi, I have this fitted now and using a N/A loom with a TT ECU....

So the boost controller is linked to manifold on one side of solenoid and to my actuators on the other side.....

All wired in and ready to get car on the road and MOT'd...... soon anyway.....

Just one thing......

Erm..... how the bloody hell do I set it up and what should I be string it to?

Lo / Hi, start boost, Limiter, gain, warning, etc......

Am i getting old?

I am confused about % ..... I thought I just had to say what I wanted as max in psi and minimum psi...... jeeeezzzzz

Can anyone who is technically minded please help.......??

Thanks....

Russ

I forgot to ask what sort of boost to be running on an untested engine and turbo's?

What is a sensible amount and what is the maximum a standard TT engine would be able to take?..... Future reference here.....

Cheers....

How long is a piece of string?

1 bar on a generic chip, you can wind it up a little more with a full remap. Standard engine's can take quite a bit more than that, but you need to increase airflow/reduce charge temperatures a little.

Thanks Si..... looking at trying to set up at about 8psi to see how she does....... and slowly over the next few months take her up to about 12 if all okay.....

was reading as much as i could find on various sites before you posted...... seems a vast array of opinion.... 14 psi seems to be a uniform one.... as safe max.....

You could take it to noz or someone? I don't play with mine but you can make ot boost too slowly or too quickly. Noz was the cheapest but biggest difference I have made to my car. And he can map it while he is at it.

If not I think...

Gain is how hard it comes on boost

Hi and low You will be able to have a few pre set boost maps

Warning will just make it flash or beep or something if it goes too high

Mine has scramble boost lol never use it but within that ypu can set how much more boost you want for what length of time when you press the button.

And it has a valet mode. Basically a password protected safety boost mode to stop friends or garage workers or valets going crackers with your car.

Either way good luck mate, let us know how you get on.
