A mate of mine was following a Blue (?) Import 300 on the M4, then onto the A329M Reg K**PDY at 22:30ish tonight, a S14 may also been involved. but he chickened out at 120!!!

 

When you turned off, he flashed you, you flashed you indicators.

So that was you Baz was it, well it wasn't me following you, (I would have gone past :D) it was my housemate in his V-Tec silver Prelude, he was well chuffed he kept up with you, he said you were only pulling away slowly.

 

Nice to hear that your clutch is KO'd, otherwise I'd be even more impressed with those V-Tec engines.

My Clutch is the nuts. I would reccomend a group buy on Stillen Stage 2's. Don't even need to upgrade the flywheel.

I was the dude in the 'lude following "Baz" last night and thought I'd say hi...

 

...I was also wondering how cruising at 120 on the M4 and accelerating from ~50ish to 120/130 on the A329M pretty quickly = "saving the clutch"???

 

Seriously, that bit on the 329, just how much were you booting it then? I'm not trying to pretend my Prelude is faster ('cos it aint), but you weren't pulling away that fast and I was kinda pleased.

 

Herman never pulls away much in his 300 either... :D

 

Oh, last thing, the bloke who said Silver manuals are best was bang on the money. Black is a girls colour - thats why they use it for dresses!!! :D

Anyway, WHITE is the best colour and manuals ARE the BEST :D Just have a look at Japanese performance magazine if you don't believe me. If you look at the transmission section in the 'upgrading your 300zx' article, it quite clearly states that 'autos are crap' and 'you are best going for a manual....' - Says it all really init LMFAO :D:D:D
