Those are not badged a 'GTR' They're badged Skyline 350GT to avoid confusion. I've driven the Infiniti badged version, the G35 out in the USA. Very much a 'touring' style upmarket interior. I really like them and actually prefer them to the 350Z. They share the same underpinnings and drive-train. A very pleasant car, doesn't set the world a light, but it's a really nice car to drive and with a few subtle modifications can be made to look quite pleasing. Quite a few don't like it in the UK, but having seen a few in the US and driven one, I'm a fan.

Most of the 350GT Skylines / G35s I've seen have had auto transmission, which tend to be the common denominator. As I've said, they share a lot with the 350z, so servicing parts are very easy to get hold of. As far as the aftermarket goes, Z1 cater for the G35 and they offer some nice bits of kit.

I rate them and would own one if I was looking for more of a daily tourer.

A choice set of wheels and a decent stance and they look quite special in the flesh.

The g35 is a nice car however I must admitt that whilst I really liked the 350gt when I saw it first I think it's a bit bland. It's essentially z33 2+2 with less power and slower. Of all the modern ones the z34 is the one I would say I actually like and would own.
