does anyone have this in theirs '300ZX Drift Iridium Nissan Gauge Cluster Kit' from z centre

http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=484&category_id=73&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=7

is it specifically for drifting or can i used this for normal day to day road rage? and does anyone know any other sites that offer similar type speedos?

someone on here does have it, and im sure they said its usable in direct sunlight too...although it wouldnt be as easy to read as the stock gauges.

Drift is just the model/brand name and has nothing to do with it's intended use. I believe these are just a plug and play way of creating a digital version of the oem dash cluster. Rolandas (member on here) created his own using individual gauges and doing all the dash modification/manufacturing and wiring himself. As Hollings says, I'm sure someone on here has that very cluster setup but I forget who.

You need a set of working clocks cos after market gauges does not support nissan power steering. If you look at zcentre pictures theres a little box where you hoise your speedo cluster with no needle. Then you need s steel plate with holes for your gauges twinturborich can make you one. I painted mine in black matt. I gave removed warning light and indicators cos my gauges have them built in. Also you can sed service intervals 0-60 speed shift light and some other stuff. Just wire them gauges and job done :)

you make it sound so easy lol!! will it work with a jdm cluster may aswell revamp mine, finding a cheap working one would be a bit of a gamble.

Bantam bunny had these fitted to his V8 Zed before the project stalled, maybe he will sell them if not allready.

worth a shot to ask

Nick's v8 zed clocks were also one off customs pieces together from individually sourced gauges like Rolandas. Also, being married to the v8 looms would mean you'd pretty much have to start over anyway.

The z centre cluster is quite a good price of you like the style/design of the gauges, otherwise have a search around the web for some that you like and make it yourself?
