like I say car will be making round 550bhp and must not be a on off style type. and stock feel

Well I'm using the RPS setup (now Specialtyz):

Smooth take up, heavier pedal feel than stock, but not so much as to be tiring. Flywheel has rebuildable facing.

what the mod to the disc that do

So ill give a less technical opinion.

I had an rps street max and killed it. But I believe that was due to my rps segmented flywheel - one of the segments had a tiny lip on it, I'm guessing someone dropped it at some point even though I bought them new.

I currently have a southbend clutch and have had no problems so far (the segments were replaced as well mind).

I think for the feel side of things, they were both nice and could be used comfortably. I also hate the on/off type clutches, the ones you need to avoid in my opinion are the panel type clutches - for example 4, 5, or 6 puck clutches. I've had a couple and hated them, offer got judder too.

So I would say either of the clutches your looking at would be good. I would suggest checking with the seller as to what power they claim to handle as that way there may be warrant to complain if they don't. I believe southbend do a few different clutches though

what southbend clutch do you have yes was looking at them there a loads of them

I see I take it the one thay sell in the z centre would feel more stock

I don't know. Mine feels very stock. In fact it's spot on for me. So was the RPS one.

You'll never get a completely stock one to hold te power you're wanting but to be honest I really like mine.

so witch one do I go for cant make me mind up

hmmmmm will just have to think about it. the southbend stage 3 in the z centre could be the one has to be nice to drive. I had a on off clutch in my Porsche hated it so much traffic lights were a pain in the arse

Have you considered getting a clutch from our new clutch trader?

yes but never replays total waste of time plus no one has used him so no idea if there any good

he should of done few at cost to get the ball rolling then some of us could test them out. better sticking to a brand we no works

stick with what we know work mite cost a little more but would be less than taking it out and starting again. I few people has sent him mails for info and don't get a replay whats the point in having him as a trader if you never get a replay. plus how can he be made a trader when no one has ever even used his clutches sounds fishy to me inside job that for sure

iff a trader wants to pay trader fees and not trade 3 things happen...

The club gets more money.

The trader loses money.

The members spend no money and also loses no money plus has the benefit of buying a known branded clutch from elsewhere.

Inside job????? Not on my watch Dan;)

I see brain will let you off I didn't know the trader payed. am not sure why he never gets back to you I gave up will got rps then
