The 300zx.co.uk 25th anniversary of the Z32 celebration event......

2014 is the 25th anniversary of the Z32 - and we need to mark the occasion!!!

SO without further ado the 300zx.co.uk club, its committee, moderators and events organisers from around the country are proud to announce a special dedicated event to celebrate the milestone; that is 25 years of these fine cars!!!

On Saturday July 19th 2014 we are holding a mass get-together, in the centre of England (almost), at The Coventry Transport Museum and ALL members (with their families, friends etc.) are invited to join us there to mark the event!!! Bring your 300zx and park it with pride on Millennium Place - right outside the museum for the duration. Entry is free........

http://www.transport-museum.com/

There are of course some minor rules though, what with this being a very public venue.... The museum requests that drip mats or trays are used if necessary (you must provide your own) to minimise the risk of oil contaminating Millennium Place; and cars are free to be displayed between the hours of 10am and 4.30pm; in fact we must all vacate the area by 4.30. Also, whilst everyone is welcome to join us, please be advised that the display on Millennium Place is restricted to 300zxs (and 240zs if we get any takers from the Zclub) ONLY. If you do arrive in any car other than your 300zx, regrettably you will have to park in any one of the public car parks near the museum. Apparently there is a car park adjacent to the museum which costs £3 at the weekend...

We all hope to see you there - and, so that we can gauge the number of visitors, please register your interest in the thread below!!

We will confirm those definitely attending nearer the time; as we will need to take car registrations of those wanting to exhibit on Millennium Place. Due to public liability insurance implications, attendees will have to be "checked off" on a pre-prepared list; so please do not leave it until the day of the celebrations and hope to turn up and be permitted vehicle access to the event!!

Thank you!!

Richard

Is that The Old Mill in Stoke?

Ahh I see

I though perhaps you were coming up to the Barbecue/Party after the Saturday main event.... and then on to Beaumanor on the Sunday

Rich

Hi Rich, we will have to see how the weekend pans out, my wife has a back problem so we have to limit the time that we spend in the car.

Paul

I thought I would post up a geography lesson for those not familiar with the Midlands area

First of all it's in the Middle of the country lol

Here is kind of how the important bits are laid our regards the 25 Years of the Zed

For anyone wanting to come to the barbecue/party

Coventry Transport Museum to My place up in Stoke On Trent is 66 Miles via the M6 toll. Using the Toll road would cost a fiver each but It would be a great palce to drive our cars especially if we can arrange some video/photography to be done for us from over the Bridges. Maybe member who are coming to the Saturday event but not in their Zeds could help?

Stoke to Beaumanor on the Sunday morning is 50 miles via the A50 trunk road and M1. Anyone who can't make the saturday main event, but wants to come to the party or just join us on Sunday for Beaumanor can congregate in Stoke on the Sunday morning for this convoy/show if they wish.

Coventry to Beaumanor is 35 Miles via the M69/M1. So this is great for anyone wanting to do the two events but not drive up to Stoke for the party

Beaumanor is just of M1 J22 so easy to get to

Likewise Coventry Transport Museum is just of M6 J3

I am 5 miles from M6 J15 directly on the A50 Trunk (well 100m from it, not in the middle of it!)

So all and any of these venues are fairly easy to get to and get between, whether you want to come to the official event on the Saurday or do the extra's

See below

A = my Abode

B = Beaumanor

C - Coventry Museum

Green Line = 66 miles Coventry - Stoke (M6/M6 Toll)

Red Line = 50 Miles Stoke - Beaumanor (A50/M1)

Blue = 35 Miles Coventry - Beaumanor (M69/M1)

I hope that helps
