try tracing it to the engine bay..will be easier to establish its purpose. Iff your car was a TT then ide say a redundant boost gauge pipe,unless someone has fitted one of those Gay vacume gauges that we used to fit in the 80,s and 90,s that read MPG by how much vacume the motors pulling in which case that will go to the intake side:blushing:

are you sure it's not the Targa drain hose?

(to check take the targa off, pour a little water down the front hole and see if it comes out the other end, it should drain onto the floor behind the front wheel,

if not take the bolt out of the hose and see if it's coming out of there))

 

what size hose?

 

As far as I know there are no VAC hoses as standard in the cabin and a bit pointless on an NA anyway (unless you're anal or just gauge mad) and why would it end there?

Doh! feel for you guy another dashboard removed for no good reason, matrix is removed via the access slot by the pedals no need to remove the dash!
