Hi, I'm looking to get a 300 by March, and was recommended this forum as a source of any and all knowledge!

I'm a drifter, but not the kind who are happy to put their car into a wall. I currently have an MX5 which will be being sold soon, and replaced with a LWB twin turbo manual. The trick is finding one as there are so few 300's for sale!

Here's a couple of pictures of my last build :)

I got a nice little Ego boost when I saw the crowd she attracted while in the club stand area at Trax! :D

I may get slated for this, so I apologise to any purists, but thanks to my love for track-look and my obsession with aero, I would love for my 300 to look a bit like this:

So anyway, hi, hopefully over the next few months I'll become part of the community and attend shows ect with the club. (a 300 would look very out of place on the MX5nutz stand afterall)

Cheers mate, thanks to this site I've already learned quite a bit about these cars which has just fuelled my love further haha!

300ZX Great car to love and own. Welcome to the forum buddy, and good luck in your search for the right Zed.

That white one belongs to a chap in the states, il find you his build thread later. Lwb is the better format for what you want and cowpatmatt is a semi pro drifter in his.

Pretty sure I saw your mx5 at japfest this year?

Personally not for me, but you'll find that kind of look will get a mixed reaction like it would on any forum, owners can do what the hell they like as it's paid for and modified with their own money.

Welcome and good luck with your search.

I too have a MX5, it's a 1991, red like yours, I'll take a pic but it doesn't move but I haven't the heart to sell .

Here's ours as I promised - 24 years old, we've had it about 10, not been used for about 3, I mot'd it about 18 months ago and then drove it back on the drive, so that ticket as run out but I don't expect much is needed to get it through again if need be.

It is sitting on lower springs and the wheels are 16 inch, these could really do with returning back to silver.

It does have a hardtop as you see, chrome style bars and a boot spoiler - oh and a bit of filler dumped on the wing, so in need of a full respray !!!
