So seeing as the missus provided me with my new plate D 2ED X who else here has personalised ones on their ZED then (and what have you got)?

What is the ultimate Z plate (300 ZX would be perfect but I doubt that exists as an actual plate)

I have seen one or two good ones around the site or at shows...

Rich

PS - we fit satellite systems in pubs so my Transit has P11BTV which looks like PUB TV the way I have it

YIJ 5666 is mine, IJS are my initials, but hence 300ZX_666 as my user name. Take no notice of the ones that say I started on here as vectra_666 it's all lies.....pmsl.

My name, TONY O, MY number plate H10NYO. Not a ZED plate but good for myself.

Been pulled over a few times for my preferred letter spacing though!!

I got pulled the other night, but my rear number plate was about the size of a postage stamp.....pmsl. it read Y IJS 666 I now have a new one....lol.

I have private plates on both my cars. A2*** and A3***. Hides the ages of both cars and I really like the way plates look with 5 or less digits.....especially on import vehicles where you can get all the digits on one line on rear plates - looks much neater.

All spacing and stuff is legit - not keen on oddly spaced digits. Having said that I have a 3/4 sized plate on the front of the Z; it's been on there nearly 10 years and I've never been pulled for it. No ugly fonts / strap lines / logos / flags.....much neater and cleaner imo.:)

Well if anyone is looking to treat themselves There's quite a few Z relevant plates around cheap it would seem....

A 2X followed by various combinations of 2 letters currently available on plates4less at £158 (will cost about £250 with VAT and transfer fees)

E 2XTT which I quite like is £284 and is suitable for any turbo Zed

P 2XTT £158 if you have a later registration plate eg a 99 spec

W/X/Y 300TT all available (does anyone have Zeds on such late plates?)

I like this one M12 XTT (MI ZX TT) which is also £158 but needs an M Reg or later car

E 2ED X is available too for £284

J/K/L/M/N 300 TUB all £158

J/M/P/R/T 300 LWB all £158

P/R/T 300 SWB all £158

J/K/L/N/P/R/T 300TTX all £158

There must be loads more too, those are just a few combos I could think of with half an hour spare to look

Interesting plate, before it was bought by someone on here my wife was looking at N300 SWB but I told her I couldn't go newer.

Yes that person was me ;) and it had to be the ultimate Zed plate surely. N for Nissan, 300 and SWB for short wheel base. It was the ultimate plate for that car anyway!

I see that L300RFS is for sale on DVLA's website for only £250..... And DVLA's prices are all inclusive of VAT and transfer fee!!

If I didn't already have one on my ZX, I'd certainly buy that (as my car is an L reg)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I have J 2ED X on retention, currently for sale as its too new to go on my next car.

D and E plates weren't available last time I checked!

Please be Fernando.

Why do I wish this? Because my head quickly decided the following.

Your obviously in charge of the isle of Fernando's, which is where all the girls go after take me out. I assume they don't come back with there man if they don't like him so therefore there's an island out there full of ladies, who I also assume are by now desperate to appropriate a male to return to the uk. It's a known fact that women cannot fly without a mate which is why air hostesses don't wear white.

I realise this is a lot of assumption but it's all quite obviously factual, therefore he must be Richard Fernando Smith paddy Mcguiness' over lord, that's a result in itself cos we can send poor paddy off on his own and keep his wife, she is epically better than the girls he provides.

Some dodgy maths I know but 2 and 2 can equal 10

Richard, what's your middle name? Frank? Fred? Findus? Fernando? lol

It isn't a middle name. His plate stands for Richard F**kin' Smith

yep baz i did toy with having it off you but just buying another house so i had to put house first as my other half wouldnt be impressed!!!!
