525 vs 535 turbos

so whats the pros and cons 525s vs 535 turbos

Featured Replies

do tell us why

525 is a t25 pair of housing machined to accept the t28 core and wheels. This makes things restrictive and hot, they're a massive improvement over stock but rather strangled. They are also the same jouneral bearing core as stock, old technology probe to failed seals etc.

535 have the newer style ball bearings allowing faster spool up compared to an equally sized journal bearing and more reliability. Also they have true 5bolt exhaust housing and larger front housing. All in all they are larger less restricted and better made.

For a comparable price you can even go that step further to gt600rs which are extremely well praised.

thanks for info

so were do the gt600rs fit in what about lag

That I couldn't tell you, in common sense terms they must be laggier. How much is hard to say though, and depend carto car due to other mods esp breathing mods.

wouldn't know witch one to pick as this point then

What are your goals?

was aiming for 550bhp to 600bhp would be nice need some options really
