Hi guys,

 

Hoping my zed should be ready to pick up Saturday,

I've had my zed sprayed few times before, but I've always had plain white.

 

So this time I've gone for a strange audi colour its called suzuka grey pearl effect,

 

It comes on the r8, and rs5, and special order.

 

I've never seen it in real life, except for a sprayout, looks white in the light, grey/silver in darker conditions,

 

Heres a couple of pics of the an audi with the colour, do u think it will suit a z im getting scared now lol...

Will it be that bad its 2 stage not 3 stage,

hoping it will be different and look ok some people say it looks like primer in some light, hope not lol..

So it seems most like what it looks like in pics, i was expecting everyone not to like it lol.

just got my fingers crossed it looks good seeing it in person...

Every pic is different and they reckon its so hard to photo. Most just look white.

Had a look at the car tonight, the door shuts had the base coat on with no clear,

Really am getting scared I thought it was primer...

 

To late now to change, why did I not just paint it white atleast I'd know how it would look...

This is the sprayout he didcan see the blueish pearl bit down the right side...

But car didn't look like it lol

But it didn't look to impressive yesterday.

Just hoping it wont be getting another respray cause I don't like it.

I'm well thanks. Yes, all the machining is done and the calipers just need to be painted and the

whole lot fitted. I'll do that over the winter. The hub you gave me was invaluable for the project.

 

BTW, I have a Conzult, so when you are ready we can plug it in and see that all is well with your

new cars electronics.

Sounds good once the z is up and running will meet up be nice to see your zed too...

As Boldy will tell you, unless its 2k paint, it will look flat and comes to life when its clear coated, i wouldnt worry lol, mine looks like primer, oh hold...... on it is primer :biggrin:

Thats what im hoping once the clears on it will look ok.

Yours looks good in primer, see what am I worrying about.
