Found out the other day what my boss has planned for this years Christmas do.

Usually we all go out for a Chinese buffet and then on to a good old fashioned pi55 up :)

This year we are going gokarting and doing one of those grand Prix sessions.

Really looking forward to this as havnt been karting for a few months now, only thing Is I was also looking forward to going out to get wasted as I never get to go out anymore (think I'll have to arrange a second unofficial do so I get to go out for a drink)

Was wondering what everyone else will be doing for their works do?

It's a tradition in my company that we go to a club. We reserve the club for a night, give everyone unlimited free drinks and party :D Theres are about 300 people working in the company and out of those 300 at least 150 are students. Also we do it in thursday, so it's a working friday, and thats also interesting day! :D

Enjoy the karting mate I shall be going to a local hotel this Saturday for a meal, drink and a group playing music. :nana2:

Did karting last year and it was great. Bowling, food and beers this year but I'm not going, firstly haven't been asked and secondly I can't drive there due to the op last week :sad:

The CEO is taking a number of us for a weekend in Milan sometime in mid January as our Christmas 'event'. Should be quite good. There's also a bowling and karting night next week.

My Xmas do week before last was in a function hall buffet provided (was edible) no free drinks tho, hubby's Xmas do last weekend was at a Greek restaurant food and drink paid for and this weekend Xmas do with all the ex work lads drinks all paid for! The only thing I like about Xmas is the pi** ups!!!! Lol

Had my karting work do last night, had so much fun!

I ended up 2nd in the grid for the final out of 20 of us, unfortunately some tw4t rammed me on a corner and spun me into the tyre wall, I managed to claw my way back to 6th but was a little annoyed to say the least!

All in all though, had a great time, and finished the night of with a large box of krispy kreme donuts :)
