Apparently, he died at a charity event for the Philippines typhoon relief effort .......

All I can think about is his family and close friends..... They must be in pieces right now....

Another tragic loss of life, a superb actor and by all accounts a very nice guy.....

My condolences to his family and friends.......

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

RIP Paul, absolutely gutted he was one of the best actors out there and such a likeable nice guy :(

Looked like a gt.

Yup. Carerra GT.

I found out quite a while ago as a friend of mine in LA sent me a text about. Whilst I am no fan of the F&F films, it's a tragic loss of a good guy. Whether you like or dislike these films, they did a lot for car communities worldwide and his acting and personality was the forefront of this.

R.I.P car guy!

Well the film industry has lost a great actor thoughts and condolences with his family and friends

Very sad news! Family is a big fan of the F&F movies, whilst not the most riveting actor he had a charm about him and clearly a very generous spirit with his charity.

Begs the question would you allow a mate to take you for a rapid drive in a 200 mph car wih likely no experience of performance driving?

Watched him in 8 below the other day a feel good Disney film, which showed a different side to his acting skills. RIP Paul Walker.

Such a shame, always liked his films

And the fast and the furious films were the thing that got me into modified cars

Rip Paul Walker

His friend was his financial advisor and professinal racing driver Roger Rodas. So he was more likely the better driver of the two. I wouldn't like to comment on the matter until the facts come out as its impossible to say what happened yet.

R.I.P such a loss to the movie industry :(

The driver was an ex racing driving pal of Pauls.

So that clears that up then?

I have no more information on what happened than any one else, but as Rodas was a Pro...of eight races!! he should be aware more than most about high speeds on Us roads, given the limit is a statutory 55, Whatever happened in those late hours of the evening, that car was split in half by pole and burst into flames....the only question I can see from the awful images coming out is a right rear tyre that has shredded and damage at that level could only have been achieved driving at a significant speed.

I'm not looking for a debate, just stunned at the ferocity of the crash and the terrible outcome, I don't think there is any qualification that mitigates the finality of this accident.

Very well said buddy, and virtually word for word what I have been saying to Jr. throughout the day.
