ill explane. i just got my agreed value under written buy the insurance company and its come back with the value i asked for. not only did i send some craking pics but also all the copys of paperwork that whats been done and were and all the history ect .So at least if it does get trashed ill still be right back here with my cheque book. And know i dont want to wish that one up but its worth an 15 pound admin fee for peace of mind. and i know on here have recently had some bad luck and i nearly didnt put this thread up because i sort of felt bad, and i shoulnt but then i thought no, theres the reason i did. and thats the reason i did. So next time you get insurance on your pride and joy that u value more than your left fore finger then dont let some simple minded moment of madness or carlessness ruining your dreams and fun run ,your pride and joy.

I'm in the process of sorting all my paperwork out to do the same thing. Out of curiosity, what insurance company are you with and what value did they agree to?

im on classic car insurance with mine I pay £190 a year with 5000 miles ,they have never asked me for an agreed value there not even bother about an alarm ive said about the mods on the out side but they say as long as its standard engine there not botherd ive been with them for years even when I had my iroc z ,as long as its over 20 years old they will insure under classic cars insurance

They wont aske you why would they. Its something that you have to aske for then they send all the paperwork through. read it thourghly and give them the pics and docs they want to the letter. making sure the pics are crystal clear to show all detal. and for the cost of a small admin fee. and to be onest its about time the car industry got to grips whith the upturn of the value of this lovely classic machines that were the japs first ever true sports car. But to a true supercar.

really didn't know that ,mines valued at 5 grand do you think that's anuf
