Welcome, there's a few of us in Dorset. Two members in Yeovil itself I think.

yeah i managed to find one yeovil member but not sure i have found the other good to know local help is at hand tho hahaha

Welcome fella, and as you said in your earlier post, don't be scared shitless of it, just drive it with respect and care.

remember there's a lot of power going through those back wheels so if its wet....leave it at home.

Been really slow progress on the zed as the metro has had to take main stage as a daily seems i have split boost pipes as well as my leaking water pump getting quite peed off with it now just sat there sulking on the drive i have however i have managed to give it a small lick of paint and more orange plasti-dip removal (long process) and have found that wd40 works a treat to break the plasti-dip down with no damage to the paint.

This is going to be a slow and boring build thread i think as there seems to be more and more to do every time i look at it, but im sure it will get there as always, its just time and money holding me back .

(DONATIONS GRATEFULLY RECIEVED HAHAHA)

Your nose badge is upside down :p

see told you i needed help i didnt even notice hahaha

Hi there Ben, got your message but unfortunately I've just moved away from Yeovil due to work. I will return in 2 years time, maybe!

Shame you didn't join earlier as I've just sold my Zed for scrap, you could have raped it for parts. There is one at a scrap yard near clay pigeon go kart track on the way to Dorchester, might be worth a look if you need parts.

Good luck with it mate, Rob.

well i have been grinding and wire bushing for a little over 2 hours and it seems my cross member issue is not quite as bad as it seemed at first, most of the old weld and weld paste is now gone showing clean rust free metal which means i can now fix a bodged crossmember properly using 5.5mm steel instead of the pointless 1.2mm steel used buy previous along with some nice seam welds i am now a happy zedder again knowing my car isnt ready for the scrapyard whoop oh excuse the mad scientist self pic i couldnt resist !!

MAD SCIENTIST SHOT LOL
