Apart from bob and Jaffa who both own slicktops has anyone else got a cage? I know mad Marco has a half cage but again swb. So yeah information on Lwb cages please, where from how much etc. how much do these affect your insurance? The age old story is having one makes your car virtually uninsurable. I've also heard it makes very little difference so that would be helpfull also.

Mine was made by Andy Robinson, all his are made to measure - not cheap though!

Insurance - never been a problem

Does it work, yes, it's instantly noticeable how much better the suspension works. Also, given both Bob and I have smacked the cars the damage hasn't been as bad as you'd expect.

In terms of safety, hopefully I'll never find out

That's the purpose for it really mate safety, the car won't see the track too often or competitive racing. However if the worse should happen I'd rather give myself a better chance of survival.

I'd expect your insurance to double. Your best bet is to call your insurer and discuss it with them.

I half expect them to say no lol.
