just fitted new brake booster brace from z1 in the usa the flex in the brake booster was a lot this has made the pedal a lot firmer now very good mod well worth doing

A mod ive been meaning to do for years :biggrin: surely we must be able to get something like that made here in the UK

the uk is a joke for parts and always payed over the odds for stuff

It stops the flex in the brake cylinder, if you get someone to press the brake hard while you watch the cylinder you will see why:thumbup1:

 

Alanz iirc can make stuff like this, but he is a busy man :biggrin:

It does give a much firmer feel to the pedal, which transfers all the pedal to the bmc and not flexing the firewall as well.

It is indeed. I was surprised when I saw just how much the flex was without one fitted. Can't be good for the firewall either I'd have thought.

couldn't live with that flex when you get ye mate to press the brake and you look in the engine bay you see just how much it moves shocking
