Another job this winter is to install front fog lights from a Japanese car. Has anyone else done this? Where is the best place to get the feed from? Don't suppose there is a how to guide on this any where? Also, how are these switched on and off in a Jap car?

Thanks, Dan

I told you in another thread that the UK and JDM cars share the same switch (albeit with a different icon). You'd have to wire an aux switch to have them both operational and independent of one another.

Eeek. Maybe it wasn't you....sure there was a thread the other day talking about JDM fogs and side lights.

Didn't relalize uk cars didn't have front fogs seems strange jdm cars have front fogs but no rear and uk have rear but no front .allways wondered why all jdm cars don't have rear fog lights do they not get fog then .

If you do not want to fit an additional switch and do not really use the rear fog lights often then pick up the supply at the rear fog relay in the black box on the inner wing on the passenger side ( its marked up) you can also fit a toggle switch there to flip between rear fog lights and front fog lights operation for MOT reasons, that way no additional switches inside of the car and easy to keep it legal MOT wise.
