Lets see if we can track the reported storm front coming, so in the South Birmingham area has gone very quiet after a blustery day, the saying calm before the storm springs to mind, so report in your area now and see if it is really coming or not..... hopefully not.

It's quite blustery in Cambridgeshire at the moment and the wind has been steadily picking up all day. Nothing too bad yet though.

north east (sunderland) has had bit of rain and few breezes but nowt worth reporting yet

although sunderland did whip newcastles ass in the football today lol

Well the big bendy tree at the end of my garden……(the one we have been meaning to lop the top off….Too bloody late now though!)…. Is bending like Beckham and is expected to fall through my house if this bloody wind does get any stronger…….

Errrm…. a bit blustery here, but not like 1987 yet…….lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Well they said its going to get bad where I live near portsmouth, but currently i would say 0 wind, and 0 rain..........

North of Portsmouth down yo the coast been very blustery today with some debris and temporary road signs coming apart. Wind now died down and no rain, waiting for a lively night.

Over to Lincolnshire now and the winds are getting stronger but nothing crazy yet, I should know I've just been playing football in it lol :)

Its raining quite heavily here in Blandford Forum, Dorset, and there is a blustery wind, but not a gale force wind - yet.

A single gust of wind took down one of our 6ft fence panels this morning, snapped the post in two. Its been calm ever since.

What I find amusing is they have put the perfect storm on itv

I was saying the same thing to my missus when it came on

Nothing at the moment here in Northampton, been a bit breezy but that's about it, though the storm isnt due until around 11pm when it should make proper land fall down on the south coast.

breezy but dry in Stoke.... which is better than usual lol

Personally I think it's all hype and nothing will happen, just not much else happening in the news so they make a fuss about nothing

Portsmouth: Heavy rain coming in now, wind picking up, seafront now closed to public.

I am supposed to be in the area set to be worst affected, but all I have here is light rain. Got terrible wind, but that's of the rectal variety.

I saw that was on!

ITV's sick jokes hah

I reckon they've tricked us all and it's coming from the North.

I'm bobbing around off the Fife coast (nr BurntIsland) and it's pishing down, blowing a *******, and thunder and lightening.
