I saw it yesterday and sure it was only about 7K, which I thought was cheap?

gone now so the kids can stop hiding their moneyboxes.. lol

The 260Z is a nice car but it does suffer from one fairly serious problem that isnt fixable

This keeps values down

Is that the fact it looks like the 240z but isn't? I still struggle to tell one from the other!

OOOOH!! Somebody is paying attention!

and the correct answer too.

The only thing wrong with the 260Z is that it isnt a 240Z.

As with many classic cars the original or first model in the range is the one to have.

Still a fine car in its own right tho.

what, as well as your zed. Or instead of??? Surely you haven fallen out with it already?!

I had a 1977 240Z back in the day when I was 21, sold it for £400! Nearly as bad as the Sierra RS500 I sold in 1994 for £3600. Same blokes still got it now and it's valued at £30k plus! Ho hum :-/

I genuinely don't think I'm ever going to afford a 240z. The prices keep going up and I find more things to hold me back timescale wise :(

I absolutely LOVE the S-Class chassis cars.

Here's the one I get to drive in California. It's a 240z with a 260z engine and huge Holley carbs + a lairy cam. It is about as quick as a stock Z32 TT as it's all stripped out too. Can't wait to drive it again over the winter. So much fun and the attention it gets is just awesome!

That's an absolute winner! Love it.

To drive it is PURE joy and Kenny is the first person to hand over the keys when I turn up at his house. It's raw and so much fun! Never driven anything quite like it.

I know what you mean, it's a kind of soul. I'm not saying my z32 is soulless, but it's never felt like an old friend. My old Capri I used to take it out to the new forest and just drive, I only came home because I'd run out of fuel/money. Maybe that was partly the time, I had time and no worries back then. But it felt alive. My z32 feels alive sometimes, usually though when it's there reminding you not to be a dick with punishing loss of traction. That's what I aim to get out the z over the next year something uncomfortable, highly connected and a touch primal savage. Chassis first :)

My Z is one of the oldest cars I've owned. Most of my cars are between 1 and 5 years old, so mine to me feels like an old friend as I've had it for such a long time. But this S30 is like a piece of antique furniture and it just oozes personality and character. The smells, the noises and the feel, nothing else I've driven seems close to it and I've driven some pretty crazy and extremely expensive machines in my time.

That's the one you can't beat it. I guess that's the right word antique, it's that feeling you get even sat still.
