Dont know if its a common fault or maybe im missing a bit of trim , but as the heavens have opened , when opening the boot fully water falls down side of the bootlid and right into the rear speakers... not ideal, I now obviously dont open the boot fully to avoid this but telling the misses this seems in vein as it just goes over her head.

Is this a common problem and is there something i could cover the speakers with the avoid this, or is it just a case or never fully opening the boot?

Thanks in advance

All zeds do this and is a pain in the backside for sure, just wondering if zeds with no rear spoiler may not get its so bad? or worse maybe??

Yes.......

Put plenty of polish on your zed and the rain should bead of the rear hatch before you open it.

........And yes!!

Or as FunkySi will say, don't drive your ZX in the rain....

Richard:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Cars are meant to be driven in all conditions, even zx's!

The only days my zed isn't driven is when its having work done on it! Other than that, its driven every day... Come rain or snow.

me too... so it's not driven a lot!!! lol...

Better than mine.... I opened boot yesterday to find I had a pond..... right rear area was full of water sitting..... Looks like I have a big leak....

Mine also fills rear speakers with water if boot opened and wet due to the silly big boot spoiler..... (I know Si.... "Take it off and throw it away").......lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

For any new cars I design, I have to check for this specifically. Hence why some cars have those little rubber ducts in the hatch corners. I'm suprised the Zed designers missed this one...

I've. Never had this problem? Mine just runs off onto my wings ?

Only time it did it was when a gromet had poped out and I had water on the inside of the hatch
