I believe Steve at Silverline Racing near Wolverhampton (he's a trader on here too) may have some expertise in this so maybe you should pick his brains too (PM silverline)

I think Richard knows I love him really.......And my Aunt Maud is lovely..... apart from the moustache.....lol

 

I use a company Called Elmsleigh engineering in Benfleet, Essex... 2 old boy's who have been reworking engines all their life.....

They are used by all the local mechanics for rebores and machining..... Highly recommended by everyone round here.....

And they are very reasonably priced.... Last time I had heads skimmed it was £15 for a pair......lol

When I get round to building a big BHP engine, they will be doing any machine work for me....
