Need a new clutch. Something stronger than standard. What's good and where do I get it from?

Also, might as well change my flywheel while I'm at it so some recommendations for that too.

Anything else worth doing/replacing while I'm at it?

You're right mate I never noticed that. Got mine months ago so not sure which one I got, think it was the silver one.

there not the same price aswell. its a shame that comp clutch don't do them for a better price so we could buy from the uk.

Only thing I can see is the black one says it weighs 5.5kg the silver one is 11LBS or 5kg. It says none turbo for the silver flywheel, that must be the difference. I must have got the black one, hope I did anyway, lol!

just reading some reviews on the xtd saying there not so good so who knows

the listing on them now say free post the one in the link has post cost

i have seen many mixed reviews, majority of them leaning in the favour of XTD from america and aus/nz

they havent got a big fan base in the UK if they ever will but for the price and the boasts of the power they can handle i thought id have a go...and there a few fairly powerful cars running them with ease such as phutumsch.

i my go with the rps street max

reading the rps street max is a bit heavy so i don't no witch way to go

It works out the same price in the end. Hopefully I will be able to test it soon & let you know what it's like.

is anyone running a clutch from comp clutch ? if not seems odd he is a dealer on here yet no one has one on there car

The xtd one is cheap and does the job I think thats why people wont pay for the competition clutch,

Its the one thing that is easy on a zed and only takes a few hours to Change if something did go wrong and you can buy 2 for the Price of some of the other Suppliers, so if it only lasted a couple of years it would probably still work out cheaper and it comes with a flywheel.

If the xtd is working why waste money,

I'm pretty sure the stock clutch is nearly £300, your getting an uprated clutch and flywheel for not much more...

I have an xtd clutch, I'm waiting to fit with my new engine bits,

Mine has the black flywheel,

been reading some bad report on them thay just seem a little to cheap and as we all know you get what you pay for most of the time but saying that the comp clutch and fly wheel is a little on the steep on side I bet there just imports from the us and sold on with a big mark up

When I got mine I was shocked cause they look and feel solid and quite good quality,

Seems a few on here have them with 500bhp, so there better then stock cause I put a new stock one in my zed which was running 15psi and chipped and it slipped near on straight the way and lasted about 3months lol...

I was more worried about how the pedal feels then the holding power of the clutch, and the guys who have them aint said there horrible, so its looking good...I hope...and has you say the competition clutch is probably not much difference except the price.

Just replace the clutch unit itself. A lightweight flywheel is going to net you about 2hp! Yeah you can rev the engine freer, but there's some advantages to a bit of weight on the fly. Save the fly money and spend it on the clutch itself.

the rps street max seems to come up a lot on here I was looking at one but I may take a change on the xtd am really unsure what to use you would think there would be a good guide on here for the best clutches to use as this comes up on here a lot asking the same thing

people have good and bad experiences with everything, some more than others obviously but the evidence is there for XTD regardless of it being cheap. You know your budget, so only you can make a decision. The majority of us only have the same tools of researching this as you.

I have looked about don't get me wrong but I just cant make my mind up

Get the xtd, worse ways its gonna give u a year or two...

To save for a more expensive clutch, but u might like it and not need another,
