Hi guys,

Having issues with my bloody brakes...

trying to bleed the brakes, and pedal keeps sinking.

clamped the rubber hose at each caliper one by one but pedal still sinks,

Tried another master cylinder and still sinks.

checked for leaks and nothing,

Only thing I have noticed is when im bleeding at abs pump u here the fluid hissing while pumping like its releasing the pedal pressure inside the pump.

starting to think its a valve in the pump open is this possible lol...

Anyone got any ideas..

are you actually getting any fluid expelled at the pump when u hold the pedal down

i had a similar prob but it took ages for me to expel the air from the abs pump turned out it was the front circuit that was the prob

i also fit a new master cylinder but when u do that u only need to bleed the abs pump and not the wheels

Yep bleed everywhere, just changed abs pump,

and still the same...

Getting pressure at every nipple but lock them up and I get a full pedal that just sinks slowly,

while misses holds the brakes I cant turn the front wheels but the rears turn so looking like its something on the rears....

any other car id say master cylinder the way it is but I've tried 2 that I know both worked fine.

gonna try and power bleed it tomorrow, have one of those kits u plug on a car wheel and push the fluid through cant see it being air I done this on a zed a million times and never had any trouble,

God I think I've solved my problem, standing there and staring at rear calipers and I think there on the wrong sides lol...

surely bleed nipple should be at the top, its on the bloody bottom and the air is gonna be at the top of caliper.

why me lol...

I hope im right and have solved my bloody problem.

anyone got a pic of the rear caliper on the car, I aint gonna sleep now thinking about it.

this car drives me nuts....

I know what I've done, so tomorrow I'll prove myself right.

the air is at the top of the calipers and bloody bleed nipple is at the bottom.

Its weird how u go blind, I know its ment to be at the top and been pumping fluid out it all day and didnt even dpring to mind its at the bottom.
