...well 300zx porn of course.

For anyone that hasn't seen this, it is a thing to behold. That engine bay, and the interior.... WOW. GT3 seats work amazingly well, just happens to be a set on ebay at the moment, but replicas aren't' too dear in the grand scheme of a build like this.

You have to respect the length of this project, it is a real passion. and for a car which is so unique... I would pay to see this!

Best,

William.

A whole lot of work completely ruined by stupidity IMO!

Yes yes, each to their own but when function & performance are ruined by a silly design statement, well that's just plain stupid IMO!!

Cleaning up the engine bay like that takes an immense amount of thought and skill, even for an N/A! I like the GT3 seats although I think the stock 300zx seats are superb, as for the cars stance...horrible, I hate slammed vehicles they always look lika an Elephants been let loose in a car park.

Having said that the detail and delivery on this car is outstanding.

the build stinks of class.. but that camber is rubbish! needs to go up 20mm just to make it slightly driveable

Spoilt by the stupid camber on the rear wheels

Agreed, takes away any class it has and makes it look like a boy racer owns it

I knew what car you were talking about before I even clicked the link. I too personally prefer the old wheels, the new set up is silly. But this car is all about the euro look, shaved and slammed. It's not built for being a monster it's an na.

Hmmmm reminds me of the one I posted up a few months ago......lol

I still love the engine bay on this and the plenum mods..... what I want to achieve...... lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

I didn't know seatbelt and window wipers were unnecessary. Going from 35mm to about 15mm on the main coolant lines is a great idea as well. The temperature sensors are mounted on the wrong side of the radiator, giving the ecu and temp gauge false readings. And 50 engine bay picture, and not a single picture of the drivers side of the engine (bay), too ugly for pictures?

Nice how someone tries to make nice looking car. But when the car becomes inferior and technically dysfunctional as a real road car thanks to the mods done I fail to be impressed. Perhaps I take 'tuning' a bit more serious than others.

Another nice build thread but IMHO it falls a long way short of what Dougal200 is doing on his swb restoration! That's just unbelievable right there!

Yeah I agree with comments here on camber and the negative performance mods... I bit backwards! That is quite often the case with stance nation though, i have never fallen for the euro look yet, but that interior and engine bay do look neat at least :p

Yeah dougal200's restoration takes it to a whole other level, I can't imagine facing a project like that, the job he has ahead would scare the shit outta me.

I'm all for shiney cars, but personally Id rather see function over form any day of the week.

Lol for an N/A it's powerful and it's an extremely good read, and more than likely my fav zed. The attention to detail on this build is unmatched. If you think this build falls short of others I think you best have another read.
