I just phoned Sureterm and they DO NOT insure Japanese imports anymore, so anyone wanting a quote, if you're not already with them will be refused. In fact, those who have them insured really need to check whether your insurance policy is still valid or indeed, when it comes to renewal time, if you'll be able to renew. They may honor old policies, but I'd check, you don't want to find out the hard way.

sureturm are just the broker, i am actually insured through sureturm but with a different company (can't remember the name but will check when i get home).

i wouldn't worry about not having cover though as once they have taken the money they have to honour the policy till the end date, obviously this may not be the case if you pay it monthly, but with the cost of classic policies, who would bother with the extra cost that goes with monthly payments.

Every time I've tried asking Adrian flux for a quote, they always try and shaft me with an extortionate price!

On my old n/a they wanted about £900

They quoted me yesterday...£300. Have no idea why it's more than yours. I'm older than you, have less points than you. Bizarre since I live in the lowest risk on the insurance index list.

Mine was 5,000. It shouldn't make that much difference. I suppose I should reduce it, but I'm going to do 1500 in my Z the week after next. Usually I do about 2,000 a year in it. I did under 800 last year as the weather was such horse shit.

I used heritage Insurance

Living in London, rough part lol, garaged, declared mods, limited to 1500 miles a year, agreed value if u wanted

£109 fully comp

Worth a shot as its no fluke as my Supe is about the same too !!!

footman james £185 1500 miles no no claims fully comp with breakdown cover in Camden = bad part of London lol so not bad
