I've been getting a doddgy idle recently, so I plugged her in and it show my TPS at 0.8 volts. So I loosened it off and tried to adjust it but I can't get it to go below 0.78 until it hits its limit.

What else could be affecting it?

My timing was a bit up at about 25 once warm.

Could be a buggered TPS. I ended up replacing mine because of low-idle. Couldn't adjust it enough to sort that out, so fitted a replacement and it cured the problem.

It'll be at 25° on idle because the TPS idle switch isn't activated. It's reading the timing from the main timing map, interpolated from 4 cells: (16+16+41+26) / 4 = 24.75°. Timing should be 15°.

Sorry for going quiet.

Was a bad sensor changed for a new one and seemed to sort out most problems.
