although it still drives the tubbies have gone.

the detting i had has turned out to be turbo stalling out and has what seems to be a massive lack of power under boost.

so now its a big decision time,

1 repair

2 sell as is

3 break it

 

its gonna be a while before i could repair as ive had to have alot of time of this year due to bad health.

ye it does a bit lol. But thanks for the use of them.

it was only few month ago i sold two sets of alloys for the z really cheap as i hadnt used them for 5yrs and now i really needed them,lol.

 

After all the problems im having with the car ive finally found the root cause, its the bay wiring loom, mainly injector plugs.

Everytime i turn left it goes down onto 5cylinders,lol. jerk the engine with the throttle and it goes back on all 6. Its very annoying.

Great to hear you have not given up on the old girl.

 

Brittle wiring in the engine bay was the problem I once had, tried everything to eliminate firing issues. In the end and one by one I removed the conduit and replaced/spliced in new wire as close to the bulk head as I could and joined them to all the coil packs, to the MAF and injectors. Piece of mind and all ready for the next time she decides to test my Z dedication!!Lol.

Some Zeders do speak outside this forum, and on other formum, if I had sold Dave a set of wheels, I wouldnt have to sub here because they wouldnt have been sold here. Similarly, if I drove around there and fitted them for him myself, I wouldnt expect to pay a second trader fee for offering garage services.

Sounds like your Z has reached that fatal day like mine did - needs a new loom, then you stick a new one in and everything else will start screaming to be replaced in jealously!

They are NOT for sale, but as a general rule over the years, me, Mikey and Dave swap Z parts ALL the time to help eachother out and diagnose things. So I'm sat here explaining myself to 'god' that always jumps in with a dig, with a flowered smiley again. If I want to sell anything via here, I'll let you know when hell freezes and you receive a membership payment to be followed around and jibed at no less than I get at the moment.

From what I can see the only person looking for an argument is sexycrayola. There was no need for the attitude she gave a member of our committee for doing his job! She could have simply said they were free. You may know her personally but many people on the forum do not and therefore just see an overly aggressive member.

 

Don't worry though, this thread won't devolve into an argument because if she carries on speaking to other members or committee in that manner I will ban her myself.

i think this car will make the death of me one day, turn left and pop a cylinder is down, turn back straight and its on all 6 again.

have changed one plug for some spade connectors already as a temporary solution but its not made it any better.

Now as much as I like you steamy I think your last comment was out of order there, that came across as a threat, when all you had to do was ask her to tone it down. You say she is out of line for saying it the way she did but I feel you are just as bad here for this.

 

Let me be clear, it was a threat. As a mod, I will not have anyone speaking to any other member, let alone a committee member in that manner. And if she carries on in such a manner I WILL give her a temporary ban, just as I would anyone else being disrespectful to other members.

But being a mod dosent give you the right to speak to people like that either, you still have rules. Your basically saying we can't speak to people like that but you can. It's out of order. Your here to keep the calm not try to encourage people into a slagging match which is all your doing right now

 

I know that it doesn't, I follow all the rules. As a mod sometimes we need to be firm. Sexycrayola is now in now doubt that if she carries on with that attitude to other member on this form then she will receive a ban, just like anyone else would.
