Hi guys.

Need a bit of help.

I'm running the car in. It's about 200 miles in now on brand new turbos and everything.

Went to the Brands Hatch show last night and come back.

Today when my friend was in the car he noticed my left hand exhaust from the rear of the car is puffing out white smoke.

It only happens with the throttle pushed briefly and then coming off of it.

Literally for about a second.

The smoke takes anther second to come out then lasts for about 5 then stops again until you blip the throttle again.

Any ideas?

PCV valves?

The engine is fine and gearbox.

No funny noises. (:

If it's a freshly rebuilt engine, it could still be burning off residue, it does take some time. If you have the original ICs in there, then oil from worn engine/failed turbos can pool there and take time to burn off. Make sure it's not that before going any further down the line.

Ok bud Cheers.

I'll drive it careful.

Only boosted up to middle range 7psi and not over that.

Thanks.

Feel a bit happier now.

Been reading this post too...

I have brand new gt525's from usa too. So should be fine.

Hopefully no piston ring fail or something bad.

Ok looking at the back of the car there is Blue smoke after revving up or stopping coming from the left hand exhaust.

Turbo already?

These are new Gt525 from Z1 :-/

Not happy but at least it's not the engine.

The warranty runs out this December.

Already put in an RMA.

I did notice tonight it was hesitating.

But I did use the non v power fuel. Would that upset the ecu?

Any ideas?

have you removed the balance bar and looked in the plenum for oil?.

if theres a lot in there, check infront of your throttle bodies.

if its clear in front of throttle bodies then could be a sign of dodgy pcv's allowing oil in the the air mixture and burning through the system.

hope you get it fixed soon.
